Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. As we gear up for the upcoming elementary school year, I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting updates and plans for the academic journey ahead.

First and foremost, I am delighted to inform you that nine of our staff had the privilege of visiting the renowned Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta over the summer. The experience was nothing short of inspiring, and we have returned with a renewed commitment to excellence in education. We were impressed by the school's dedication to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, and we are eager to incorporate some of their innovative practices into our own classrooms.

One of the exciting changes we will be introducing this year is the implementation of the "House System" at our school. Inspired by the Ron Clark Academy, this system aims to create a sense of community, healthy competition, and collaboration among students. Each student will be assigned to one of four houses, and throughout the year, they will earn points for their houses through academic achievements, good behavior, and participation in various activities. This approach will encourage teamwork and foster a strong sense of belonging, as students work together towards common goals.

Furthermore, we are excited to introduce the "55 Essentials" framework into our teaching practices. These essentials, encompassing critical life skills and character traits, will be woven into our daily lessons, ensuring that our students receive a holistic education that goes beyond academics. We believe that by instilling these qualities in our students, we are nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to face any challenges that come their way.

At our school, we set high expectations for our students because we firmly believe in their potential to excel. With your support as parents and guardians, we can create a conducive learning environment that motivates our young learners to reach for the stars. Together, we will celebrate their successes, support them through their challenges, and witness their growth throughout the academic year.

As we embark on this new school year, filled with optimism and enthusiasm, we look forward to working closely with you to create a positive and enriching educational experience for our students. Open communication and partnership between school and home are vital, and we encourage you to stay actively involved in your child's education.

In the coming weeks, we will be organizing orientation sessions and school events to foster a strong sense of community and ensure a smooth transition into the new academic year. Please keep an eye on your email and school announcements for further details.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children. We are committed to making this school year a remarkable one, filled with learning, growth, and joy.

With warm regards,

Michelle Denton
